Multiple partners having unprotected sex seems to be a trend on the Maury Povich show. There have been many cases of women and men being tested several times trying to figure out the paternity of their children. Having multiple unprotected partners isn’t new, but this show brings the paternity issues to the forefront where they may have not been so visible before. This should cause couples to communicate more and definitely decide what boundaries exist in their relationships.

AIDS

A baby could result from unprotected sex, but so could AIDS. This seems to be the missing element from this scenario. The fear of AIDS seems to have dissipated while they fight the potential father and child support payments!
